About Author Kristen N. Bailey I feel so blessed that my writing is extending to new areas such as articles and blogs this last year. I dreamed of writing novels when I was little and still love story telling. My school published a one of my short stories when I was in the fourth grade, and I realized other people might like to read what I wrote. I saved up and bought my own typewriter and soon was tapping out books over summer break. Now I'm twenty-nine and a mother to three. Life's busy but a lot of fun! Since family is such a large part of my life, my stories naturally feature complicated family relationships and friendships. And, of course, romance. People are the most important aspect of life, so you'll notice great novels are about interesting people with both flaws and good qualities. I have several romance novels and a young adult fiction book available right now, another romances coming out soon from Lachesis Publishing, and a women's fiction novel that's still in the editing process. I live in central Oregon (the beautiful Umpqua Valley) with my three children. We enjoy camping, cycling, and trips to places throughout our region including the coast and mountains. The kid in me loves celebrations of any kind and exploring in the forest. This fish picture shows one of the many reasons I love living here! (Summer steelhead caught in early fall)
out now. You can visit her website at www.beachpoet.com. Besides working on my own writing, I run Bravado Publishing to help other writers publish their own work, the way I did. It's very exciting to take an author through the process of turning their manuscript into a book. Publishing is exciting, fun and challenging because each project is different. Drop me an email if you love writing or reading! Kristen |

My latest title - From Lachesis Publishing: In The Enemy's Son, Cora Evans must find a way to save her father from his corrupt employer who accuses him of embezzling a million dollars. She's done well as a reporter because she's naturally curious about everything. That makes for a lot of trouble now! The only person who can help her is the employer’s son, Nick Halloway, but she fears he’s helping his own father and lying to her, using her emotions against her. Nick became a lawyer to make up for some of his family's crimes. When he meets Cora, attraction sparks like flames in dry, summer grass. Nick and Cora must hide from his family, and they're also being pursued by a white collar criminal who wants the money for himself. Alexander wants more than the money, he wants Cora along with it. Everything and everyone are suspect, so Cora wonders if she should trust him. Nick vows to protect Cora from his family and Alexander. Using Cora's optimism and Nick's drive, they work together to find who really stole the money and clear their names. (Content: Would probably have a movie rating of PG13) |
